UNK student organizations turned the “Searching for Blue and Gold” theme into entertaining choreographed dances during the lip-sync contest Thursday evening in the Health and Sports Center. Hosted by Loper Programming and Activities Council, the annual event is a highlight of homecoming week.
UNK graduate Austin Jacobsen served as emcee and Loper football coach Josh Lynn fired up the crowd. The UNK drum line, Sapphires dance team, cheerleaders and wrestlers also performed.
LPAC presented academic scholarships to Olivia Koenig and Josephine Brink.
Lip-sync contest winners were:
First place – Phi Delta Theta/Gamma Phi Beta/Lambda Theta Nu
Second place – Christian Student Fellowship
Third place – Sigma Tau Gamma/Alpha Omicron Pi/Sigma Lambda Gamma
Fourth place – Sigma Phi Epsilon/Alpha Phi/Sigma Lambda Beta
