PHOTO GALLERY: Plant sale raises money for UNK greenhouse, Loper Pantry

Dozens of UNK community members lined up outside the campus greenhouse to buy perennials, annuals, herbs and vegetable plants Friday afternoon.

Biology professor Paul Twigg and UNK sophomore Macy Hill of McCook began planting seeds in February.

They sold about 920 plants and brought in around $1,900. Proceeds will be split between the greenhouse and the Office of Student Diversity and Inclusion to support programming and the Loper Pantry.
