The Nebraskats presented “Kings and Queens” on Tuesday evening in the Fine Arts Recital Hall.
The livestream concert included songs from Michael Jackson, Stevie Nicks, Taylor Swift, Sara Bareilles, Queen, Lorde, the Beatles, Kelsea Ballerini, Elton John and others. UNK director of dance Noelle Bohaty and UNK student Rebekah Petersen of Omaha assisted with choreography, and Ruth Moore was the accompanist.
Founded in 1967, the Nebraskats are a show choir comprised of full-time UNK students selected through competitive auditions. The group, directed by Eileen Jahn, has been in existence longer than any currently performing collegiate show choir in Nebraska.
