Sixth-ranked UNK won Saturday’s NCAA Super Regional VI Championships at the Health and Sports Center and qualified seven wrestlers for the Division II Championships, scheduled for March 13-14 at the Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
The Lopers scored 148 points to claim their 16th NCAA regional title. Senior Jarrod Hinrichs and juniors Wesley Dawkins, Josh Portillo, Sam Turner, Jacob Wasser, Matt Malcom and Jonathan Killingsworth will compete in the national tournament.
