UNK’s Multicultural Greek Council celebrated its 10th anniversary last week.
Created in 2010, the council serves as the governing body for UNK’s three nontraditional Greek organizations – the Sigma Lambda Gamma and Lambda Theta Nu sororities and Sigma Lambda Beta fraternity.
On Friday evening, the groups attended a banquet that included keynote speaker Xavier Romano, executive director of Sigma Lambda Beta International. The following night, the multicultural Greek organizations hosted a stepping/strolling event in the Nebraskan Student Union Ponderosa Room.
