KEARNEY – The Nebraska Music Teachers Association is sponsoring a free piano workshop May 18 at Kearney First Baptist Church, 3610 Sixth Ave.
The event, open to youths ages 7-18, features master classes and presentations led by University of Nebraska at Kearney music faculty Jayoung Hong and Beth Mattingly and piano instructor Bella Hoppens of Yandas Music.
The workshop runs from 9:30 a.m. to 12:10 p.m., with a concert concluding the activities.
