It’s time to celebrate at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Degrees were conferred Friday for nearly 700 graduate and undergraduate students during the spring commencement ceremony, marking a major milestone witnessed by friends and family who filled UNK’s Health and Sports Center for the event. McKenzie Cuba of Silver Creek represented the newest group of UNK alumni when she delivered the senior class reflection and Daniel Kritenbrink, the U.S. ambassador to Vietnam, was the featured speaker. Kritenbrink, who graduated from UNK in 1991, was “jazzed” to be back in Kearney to inspire the next generation of leaders.
