“It’s been fun working with Jon to create an entertaining dance that will raise much-needed support for a Veterans memorial,” said Eighmey. “This may be outside my comfort zone, but I’m hoping that our fans enjoy our performance, appreciate our effort and cast their votes to help a worthy cause. ?”

For the past six months, the dancers learned and practiced a competitive routine, coached by UNK dance professor Noelle Bohaty. They’ll perform that routine Saturday and be judged on their ability by a panel of celebrity judges. Audience members will be able to vote for their favorites during and prior to Saturday night for the People’s Choice award.

”You vote with money,” Rotary member Jeff Warren told Rick Brown of the Kearney Hub. “The more votes that participants get, the more money we raise and the more money that goes to a memorial for our Veterans.”?”
