Congressman Adrian Smith (R-NE) met with Amanda Slater of Clay Center Wednesday to congratulate her on being selected to present her research to members of Congress and their staff during the Posters on the Hill conference in Washington, D.C. Slater, a junior at UNK, discussed her research project titled “Adult Influences in the Construction of Youth War Diaries.”
