KEARNEY – University of Nebraska at Kearney choirs will present a concert at 3 p.m. Sunday (April 24) at the Fine Arts Recital Hall.
The men’s ensemble, women’s choir and chamber choir will sing a variety of repertoire.
The Choraleers are singing a major work entitled “Dona Nobis Pacem,” composed in 1936 by English composer Ralph Vaughan Williams.
Pianist Jayoung Hong will be joined by Associate Professor of Performing Arts Duane Bierman, and three UNK percussion students will be accompanists for the historically significant work.
Soprano Hajeong Lee of South Korea, baritone Nolan Pribnow of Lincoln and baritone Bobby Jacobs of Minden are featured soloists during the performance.
The concert is free to the public.
