UNK Alert: The University of Nebraska Kearney has canceled night classes for Tuesday, Feb. 4 due to the winter storm. Night classes are any class that begins after 4 pm.
Although classes are canceled, other campus events and activities may go on as scheduled.
1:55 p.m. UPDATE
Tonight’s UNK@TheWorld international film event and showing of the movie “The Motorcycle Diaries” has been postponed.
The film, planned for The World Theatre in Kearney, has been rescheduled to 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 11.
2:15 p.m. UPDATE
The Calvin T. Ryan Library on the UNK campus will close at 9 p.m. tonight.
Classes are currently scheduled for Wednesday. Any potential late starts or cancellations will be reported through all local media, the campus website http://www.unk.edu and the UNK facebook and twitter pages.
