Dancing, singing and other acts will be presented at the student FAME Talent Show at the University of Nebraska at Kearney on Friday, Feb. 1.

“In the past, we’ve had acts that include everything from singing, dancing and magic to comedy, theater skits and break dancing,” said Heather Wolf, assistant director of the Nebraskan Student Union. “Loper Programming and Activities Council hosts this event annually to showcase all the different types of talent that UNK students have.”

The talent show, which is free and open to the public, will start at 7 p.m. in the Nebraskan Student Union Ponderosa Room.

According to Wolf, both group performances and solo acts will perform.

Group and individual performers will compete for monetary prizes. Group performance prizes for first, second and third place are $300, $200 and $100, respectively. Individual performance prizes for first, second and third place are $200, $150 and $50, respectively.
