Student flutists will perform in the parlor of the Frank House at the University of Nebraska at Kearney on Saturday, Dec. 8.
Under the direction of Franziska Nabb, UNK music lecturer, student performers will play selected pieces, both solos and chamber works, for the audience.
“We like to use the Frank House, because it is a smaller venue, and it provides a great atmosphere, reminding us of how and where most families made music in the 18th and 19th centuries,” Nabb said.
Regular walk-in-hours of the Frank House are Monday through Friday, 2-5 p.m., and Saturday, noon-5 p.m. The Frank House is closed during UNK breaks and holidays. Donations are always accepted.
