SERVICES SET FOR WEDNESDAY IN OKLAHOMA FOR FORMER UNK FACULTY MEMBER

Dr. Harland Hoffman, a University of Nebraska at Kearney emeritus professor of English, passed away Saturday, Feb. 18, in a Tulsa hospital.

Dr. Hoffman was a faculty member at Kearney State College/University of Nebraska at Kearney from 1962-1993. He served as chair of the Department of English for more than 10 years before his retirement.

He is survived by his wife Janis of Broken Arrow, Okla.; his son Lamont of Mansfield, Texas; and his brother John of Overland Park, Kan.

Memorial services are set for 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Floral Haven Funeral Home in Broken Arrow. Condolences may be sent to 1329 North Willow Ave., Broken Arrow, Okla. 74012.
