SENIOR COMPOSITION RECITAL SET FOR SUNDAY, NOV. 6, AT UNK

University of Nebraska at Kearney senior Robert Roth will be presenting his composition recital at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, in the Fine Arts Recital Hall.

Roth has composed and will be presenting the following pieces:  “Fanfare,” “Bugs,” “Vitamin Suite en ‘Do’ Dorian,” “Nebraska Thoughts” and “Tango.” Selections will include various combinations of vocal and instrumental works. This event is free and open to the public.

Roth, who is pursuing a bachelor of music degree in composition and a bachelor of arts in music education, is a composition student of Dr. Darleen Mitchell, UNK professor of composition. His special honors and awards include being an honors student, a Dean’s List student and a recipient of an Undergraduate Research Fellowship.

He is the son of William and Pamela Roth of Comstock.
