BETA GAMMA SIGMA INTERNATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY INDUCTS NEW MEMBERS

Twenty-one new student members and a faculty member have been inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma international honor society for business at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.

In addition to the newly inducted student and faculty members, Eric Trettle of Expanxion, L.L.C. was selected as the chapter honoree. . Dr. Kyle Luthans, UNK chair and professor of management is the faculty member selected for induction this year.

Beta Gamma Sigma is the honor society for universities around the world affiliated with the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International (AACSB). Membership is the highest recognition a business student can receive in a business program accredited by AACSB International.

The UNK chapter was established in 2006. Each year, the chapter invites the top 10 percent of junior and senior business majors, and top 20 percent of MBA students to join. Beta Gamma Sigma members receive lifetime recognition for outstanding academic achievements, a scholarship program, lifelong learning through BGS News and BetaNet, career networking program, alumni chapter activities and discounts, and special offers on various professional products and services.
