UNK– Christmas music will flood the University of Nebraska at Kearney Fine Arts Recital Hall when three vocal groups perform a combined concert on Sunday, Dec. 5.
The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Recital Hall, which is located in the UNK Fine Arts Building. The concert includes performances by the Choraleers, Women’s Chorus and Men’s Chorus. Under the direction of Dr. David Bauer, UNK professor of music, the groups will perform a variety of selections, including “Alleluia Sasa!,” “The Many Moods of Christmas,” “Mary had a Baby,” “Glorious is the Lord Almighty” and “Festive Profession.”
In addition, the Women’s Chorus will perform “Psalm 23,” accompanied by Brooke Harris of Dickens on the flute and Paloma Mena-Werth of Kearney on the oboe.
