UNK– Student editors were recently selected for “The Antelope” student newspaper for the fall semester at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
“The Antelope” is the student-managed publication for the UNK campus. All content is produced by the students. Students can enroll for the news, photo or advertising staff for class credit through the UNK Department of Communication, apply for a paid position on the editorial staff, or make guest and volunteer contributions each week.

“The growth in the student newspaper in the past year can be attributed to the hard work of the managing editor, the section editors, staff and contributions from the JMC classes,” said Tereca Diffenderfer, faculty adviser for “The Antelope.” “The managing and section editors continue to be focused on covering more diverse news.”
