UNK- Transfer and New Student Orientation Day at the University of Nebraska at Kearney will be on Friday, Dec. 5.

Hosted by the Office of Undergraduate Recruitment and Admissions, Transfer Day begins at 8:30 a.m. in the UNK Nebraskan Student Union. Approximately 60 students from community colleges and four-year institutions across Nebraska are expected to attend

“It is a great way for transferring students to connect to a new campus, and have faculty and staff assist them with registration,” said Michael Pelster, UNK director of Undergraduate Recruitment.

Transfer Day gives students who plan to take classes in the spring the opportunity to set up their class schedule, get their UNK ID card and learn about various UNK resources. Information from the Office of Financial Aid, Student Support Services, Residential and Greek Life, Student Health and the Registrar’s Office will also be available.
