UNK- The Titanic “Pre-Sail” is set for Saturday, Nov. 15, at the Frank House museum, located on the University of Nebraska at Kearney West Campus.

Gloria LeDroit, who annually hosts a dinner theatre-in-the-entirety, “Remember the Titanic!,” will give the one-hour presentation beginning at 1:30 p.m. She will present rare film footage of the 1912 Titanic disaster, share true Titanic stories and lead discussion of how the disaster still affects people today. The presentation is free and open to the public.

Participants will hear the details of the next presentation of “Remember the Titanic!,” which is scheduled for March at the Frank House.

“The loss of the Titanic meant great personal loss for individuals and families of the time,” LeDroit said, adding that many people do not realize the economic loss and how it still affects people today.

“Gloria has a wealth of information about the impact of the Titanic and is the captain for ‘Remember the Titanic!,’” said KrisAnn Sullivan, Frank House museum director.
