HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS TO BE ON THE UNK CAMPUS MONDAY (Nov. 3) FOR SENIOR DAY

UNK-  High school seniors will be on the University of Nebraska at Kearney campus Monday, Nov. 3, for Senior Day, according to Michael Pelster, assistant director of Undergraduate Recruitment and Admissions.   
 
“Senior Day is a great chance for high school seniors to experience UNK’s campus,” Pelster said. “They will have the opportunity to interact with UNK faculty, staff and current students. It’s also a great way to start meeting other students who might be future Lopers.” 
 
Seniors will have to opportunity to learn more about their desired fields of study by visiting with department faculty, tour the residence halls, have lunch at Chartwells and learn more about student life at the student organizations fair, while interacting with current and future UNK students. 
 
Check-in begins at 9:30 a.m. at the UNK Health and Sports Center. The schedule for Senior Day includes:
 
9:30 – 10 a.m.                Check-in (Health and Sports Center)
10 – 10:15 a.m.                Welcome (Health and Sports Center)
10:15 – 10:30 a.m.           Walk to Academic Appointments
10:30 – 11 a.m.                 Academic Appointments 
11 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.         Student Organizations Fair (Nebraskan Student Union)
11:30  a.m. – 12:45 p.m.   Lunch at Chartwells ($5.44 with discount meal ticket)
12:45 – 1:30 p.m.              Tour of Residence Halls
