There has been a change in the Hispanic Heritage Month closing ceremony on Friday, Oct. 17. The program will start at 6 p.m. as originally planned, but no dinner will be served. Instead, chips and salsa will be provided.

Jake Jacobsen, a lecturer in the Department of Communication, will be the keynote speaker. The program also includes entertainment by Ladies Mix, Lambda Theta Nu and HSA members. The dance will begin at  7:45 p.m. with live music provided by Banda Jalapenos Musical.

The event, which is sponsored by the Hispanic Students Association and the Office of Multicultural Affairs, is free and open to the public.
