Vice Chancellor for University Relations, 308.865.8529
UNK- Students from 10 states and six countries are included on the University of Nebraska at Kearney Deans’ List for the 2008 spring semester. To be included on the UNK Deans’ List, undergraduate students must carry an academic load of at least 12 credits for which a letter grade is awarded and earn a grade point average of 3.5 or above. Straight A’s equal a 4.0. “The required combination of credit hours and academic load makes achieving the Deans’ List a significant accomplishment,” said Dr. Finnie Murray, senior vice chancellor of Academic Affairs and Student Life. “These are students who have shown a commitment to academic success and a love for learning.”
Deans’ List students are listed below. Nebraska students are listed first, alphabetically by hometown. Out-of-state students are listed next in alphabetical order by state and then by city within each state. International students are listed last, alphabetically by country. Students who have earned straight “A’s,” a 4.0 average, are indicated with an asterisk to the right of their listing. The individual colleges are designated as follows: BT, College of Business and Technology; ED, College of Education; FA, College of Fine Arts; NS, College of Natural and Social Sciences; and UC, University College.
