UNK- The University of Nebraska at Kearney will host the eighth annual Senior Day event on Monday, Feb. 11, at the Nebraskan Student Union.

Events begin at 9:30 a.m. and will conclude at 1:45 p.m. while giving high school seniors a “behind-the-scenes” look at UNK. Activities for the day will include presentations about admissions, academics and financial aid. Lunch will be provided by Chartwells. There will be a campus tour after lunch. Students will also be able to meet and interact with current UNK students throughout the day.
Michael Pelster, assistant director of Undergraduate Recruitment, is coordinating the event.
“The success of Senior Day comes from the willingness of our current UNK students to share their experiences with potential Lopers,” Pelster said.
Students who are interested in attending may register online at www.unk.edu. Click on the Prospective Students menu on the homepage and access the Senior Day link on the Admissions Events page.
Space is limited, so registration needs to be completed by Wednesday, Feb. 6, Pelster said. There is no fee to register, and questions may be directed to the Office of Undergraduate Recruitment and Admissions by calling 1-800-KEARNEY or e-mailing admissionsug@unk.edu.
