NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY FOR SENIORS ANNOUNCES 2007 INITIATES AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NEBRASKA AT KEARNEY

Twenty-six students at the University of Nebraska at Kearney have been inducted into the Xi Phi Chapter of Mortar Board.

“The selection of Mortar Board members is based on honoring the best of the best,” said Dr. Kenya Taylor, the group’s adviser and dean of Graduate Studies and Research.

“They are some of the brightest, best and busiest students at UNK, and they continually find ways to provide leadership and service to the chapter, the university and the community.”

Mortar Board is a national honor society that recognizes academic and social merit among college seniors. Mortar Board promotes leadership, scholarship and civil service among the college community.
