WELLS FARGO CHARTERED FINANCIAL ANALYST TO PRESENT ‘MANAGING YOUR WEALTH’

The University of Nebraska at Kearney College of Business and Technology and Wells Fargo Bank are partnering to present a 2007 Wells Fargo focus event titled “Managing your Wealth.”

Free and open to the public, the presentation will begin at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27, in the UNK Fine Arts Recital Hall.

The speaker for the event is H. Cameron Hinds, a chartered financial analyst and vice president as well as senior portfolio manager, of Wells Fargo Private Asset Management.

Topics that will be addressed in the presentation include general economic trends of investment strategies, trends affecting the stock market and investment strategies for individual investors.

Hinds has more than 22 years of investment management experience. In addition to his positions in Wells Fargo Private Asset Management, Hinds is also the co-team leader for the Wells Fargo Disciplined Core Equity Model, the primary core equity product for PCS clients. He is also a team leader for the Wells Fargo Buy List Process.  

Before the merger of Wells Fargo and First Commerce Bancshares (FCB), Hinds was the president and chief investment officer for First Commerce Investors, the investment management subsidiary of FCB. During his tenure at FCB, he was the portfolio manager for the three Great Plains Funds stock portfolios.

Hinds is the former president and director of the Omaha-Lincoln Society of Financial Analysts, and holds both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
