A VARIETY OF STUDIO ART TO BE PRESENTED BY SENIORS AT UNK WALKER ART GALLERY APRIL 2 – 13

Artwork as diverse as computer animations, ceramics and silkscreen prints created by senior University of Nebraska at Kearney studio art students will be on exhibit April 2-13 in the UNK Walker Art Gallery.

In addition, a reception will take place Saturday, April 7, from 2 – 4 p.m.

Participants include Abigail Om, Auburn; Jesse Jacobs, Mullen; and Michael Williams, Papillion.

Om’s works include copper etchings and silkscreen printed pieces, including a series titled “Fall,” “Summer,” “Winter” and “Spring.” Jacobs will present ceramic artwork such as “Carbon Glow,” and Williams will present his computer-animated film, “This Desert Life,” as well as various film production artwork.

The show is free and open to the public. The Walker Art Gallery is located in the Art Annex of the Fine Arts Building, and is open weekdays 8:30 a.m. to noon and 1:30-4:30 p.m.
