The fifth annual robotic competition for the artificial intelligence class will take place Friday, Feb. 16, from 9-10:10 a.m. in Otto Olsen, Room 117.
For this year’s competition, the robots are competing in a sumo wrestling contest, following the guidelines of the 2007 Midwest Instruction
Computing Symposium Robot contest.

“We are using the new lego mindstorm NXT robots, that come with a 32-bit processor, new sound sensors, new ultrasonic visual sensors and improved light and touch sensors,” said Dr. Sherri Harms.
