Russtanna Faimon, the daughter of David and Barbara Faimon of Grand Island , will perform her junior recital Friday, April 21, at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
The recital, a requirement for music majors, will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the UNK Fine Arts Recital Hall. Faimon, a soprano musical theatre major, will perform several pieces including works by Haydn, Lippa and Howland. Jordan House will accompany her on the piano.
Faimon has also been involved in Choraleers and recently finished her third year with the Nebraskats show choir. Students are selected for Choraleers and Nebraskats through competitive audition.
