STUDENTS FROM FIVE AREA SCHOOLS ATTEND WOMEN’S CHORAL WORKSHOP AT UNK

Students from five area high schools attended the Women’s Choral Workshop from 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 a.m. in the Fine Arts Recital Hall Monday at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
    
High schools from the following communities had students participating: Elba, Franklin, Gibbon, Loup City and Kearney.
    
The girls rehearsed triple-voice repertoire with Dr. David Bauer, UNK professor of Music and Performing Arts, and learned how to blend voices with one another.
    
The UNK Choraleers performed at 12:30 p.m. as part of the workshop.
