High school seniors interested in attending the University of Nebraska at Kearney are learning more about the campus by attending Loper Preview Days events this year.
Through Loper Preview Days, prospective students take a walking guided tour of the campus, have lunch in the cafeteria, learn about UNK offerings and discover what attending UNK is like by listening to a panel of current students. Seniors also receive information about the admissions process, financial aid and scholarships, and the various student life opportunities for campus involvement.
According to Campus Visit Coordinator Lee Ann Amm, preview days are being held monthly during the fall semester. Dates for upcoming Looper Preview Days are Monday, Nov. 14, and Monday, Dec. 5.
Students interested in attending a preview day event can register online by going to www.unk.edu and clicking on the Prospective Students button on the right side of the page. Registration is free and is limited to the first 100 students who register for each session, Amm said.
