Instrumentalists Derek Gangwish and Matthew Manning to Present Joint Senior Student Recital Friday, April 29

Instrumentalists   Derek Gangwish and Matthew Manning will give a joint senior recital at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 29, in the  University of Nebraska at Kearney Fine Arts Recital Hall.
A music education/elementary education major from Ayr,  Derek Gangwish will be performing on the trombone. He is the son of Raymond and Peggy Gangwish. Matthew Manning, a music education major from Kearney,  will be playing the tuba. He is the son of Becky Bartling and the late Marion Manning.

Among the works to be performed are Concertino  by Gerdinand David, Biblical Songs  by Antonin Dvorak, Sicilienne  by Garriel Favre, Tuba Rhapsody  by Clare Grundman, Polka Caprice  by Arthur Prior, and additional pieces by Giovanni Gabriel and Michael Kamon. The concert is free and open to the public.
