Winners and exhibitors in the University of Nebraska at Kearney Kappa Pi spring semester student art exhibition have been announced.
The annual competition was juried by David Jones of Wyoming and Turner McGehee of Hastings. Student work was classified into six judging categories: on paper, on canvas, graphic design, ceramics, sculpture and glass.
“The exhibition showcases the talent within the Department of Art and Art History at UNK,” said Elizabeth Kronfield, exhibition coordinator and UNK assistant professor. “Further, this exhibition experience is important to the students, because they learn how to present their work as professional artists, and to the public, because they are able to view new works from talented young artists. ”
