Phi Beta Delta, an international honor society at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, is sponsoring a one-week food drive for the Jubilee Center, Dec. 8-15.

“Students will be going home for break, and instead of taking canned goods home or leaving all the canned goods stored in their rooms, they can drop the items in the boxes to help restock the Jubilee Center for the holiday season,” said Devan Naik, president of Phi Beta Delta.

Boxes will be located at the front desks in the residence halls, as well as in Bruner Hall of Science, College of Education Building, Nebraskan Student Union and Copeland Hall.

Phi Beta Delta is an honor society for students, faculty and staff who are majoring or teaching in the field of international studies, have studied abroad or who are doing research on international issues, as well as international students, according to Corliss Süllwold, Phi Beta Delta chapter coordinator.
