“Home for the Holidays,” an art exhibit featuring winter landscapes, Christmas scenes and other views depicting the spirit of the holidays, is currently being featured at the Museum of Nebraska Art (MONA).

Chosen from MONA’s permanent collection, artwork in various media by Nebraska artists –Grant Reynard, John Falter, Gladys Lux and others–as well as pieces that have not previously been exhibited, will be up now through Jan. 16. This exhibition is made possible by the MONA Guild.

The featured image is an untitled watercolor by Grant Reynard. The watercolor, which was created in the 1940s-50s, was a gift to the MONA collection from Jane Wilcox of Kearney.

Located at 2401 Central Ave., MONA exhibits are free and open to the public. Museum hours are Tuesday – Saturday, 11 a.m. -5 p.m., and Sunday, 1-5 p.m. The museum is closed Mondays and major holidays.
