The annual Phi Beta Lambda clothing drive is being held this week in Kearney.

Collection boxes are located at Sun Mart, a Kearney grocery store located at the corner of Second Avenue and 39th Street. Phi Beta Lambda is a University of Nebraska at Kearney College of Business and Technology service organization.

According to Mark Rhine, a member of the organization, any type of clothing for people of all ages is acceptable, as are accessories such as shoes, gloves and purses.

Women’s professional clothing will be donated to the Career Closet. All remaining clothing will be divided between Goodwill and the Salvation Army.

Phi Beta Lambda has sponsored the clothing drive for more than four years. Over the last two years, the entire Kearney community has been invited to participate in the clothing drive, rather than limiting participation to UNK campus members.
