Nathan Helzer of Grand Island will present his senior baritone vocal recital at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 24, in the University of Nebraska at Kearney Fine Arts Recital Hall.
His recital will feature works by G.I. Handel, Stefano Donaudy, Wolseley Charles, Frank Loesser, Kander and Ebb, and Irving Berlin. He is a student of Dr. Anne Foradori, associate professor of music.
Helzer, a senior music education major, is the son of Linda Helzer of Grand Island. He is the president of Delta Omicron music fraternity and a member of the Music Student Representative Board, the Nebraska Music Educators Association/Music Educators National Conference and the American Choral Directors Association.
The recital is free and open to the public.
