Sarah Reeks of Omaha will present her junior recital on alto saxophone at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 15, in the University of Nebraska at Kearney Fine Arts Recital Hall.
Reeks, a junior music education major, is the daughter of Robert and Julie Reeks of Omaha.
A student of Dr. David Nabb, her recital will feature Concerto for alto saxophone by Robert Muczynski, Fantasie in A Minor by Georg Philipp Telemann and Rapsodie by Claude Debussy. In the spring of 2004, she won the Concerto/Aria contest at UNK and will be playing Muczynski’s concerto with the UNK Wind Ensemble in the spring of 2005.
The recital is free and open to the public.
