You’ll Never Forget Kearney is the theme for the week-long activities of Homecoming 2004 at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, Oct. 4-9.

Activities for students range from a limbo competition and crowning royalty to the 1 p.m. Loper football kick-off against the Colorado School of Mines on Saturday.

4………Limbo Competition, 4 p.m., Nebraskan Student Union (NSU) Courtyard

5………Spirit Competition, 4 p.m., NSU Courtyard

6………Trike Race, 4 p.m., NSU Courtyard

7………Lip Sync/Royalty Crowning, 7 p.m., UNK Health and Sports Center

8………Lawn Display, 2 p.m., UNK campus

9………UNK Homecoming Parade, 10 a.m., Kearney Central Avenue

9………UNK Football vs. Colorado School of Mines, 1 p.m., Foster Field

Residence halls, fraternities and sororities, 11 teams altogether, will compete in each event for points. Points will be compiled for participating groups. The group that earns the highest number of points have an opportunity to be the 2004 Homecoming Champion. Homecoming is sponsored by Loper Programming and Activities Counsel and is funded by UPFF.
