The University of Nebraska at Kearney begins its third season of Mochas and Music Coffeehouse with a performance by singer/songwriter Shevy Smith 8:30 – 10:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 1, in the Nebraskan Student Union (NSU) Atrium.
Smith’s style has influences ranging from Tom Petty and Jackson Brown to Sheryl Crow.
“This Kansas native is a must-see with her high energy and imagery-filled lyrics,” said Tim Danube, NSU associate director.
