Sigma Beta Delta is a international business, management and administration honor society open to graduate students and faculty, as well as juniors and seniors. Correll is a member of the organization at UNK and applied for the fellowship during spring 2004.

According to Marsha Yeagley, a senior lecturer in management and marketing at UNK, Sigma Beta Delta was established to honor students who have attained superior records in business programs in schools and colleges with regional accreditation.

The organization has been a part of the American collegiate scene for more than 200 years.

The international honor society was established to recognize scholarship and accomplishment, and to encourage and promote aspirations toward personal and professional improvement and a life distinguished by honorable service to humankind, Yeagley concluded.
