The University of Nebraska at Kearney will be featured on the Forbes magazine Web site, Forbes.com, beginning at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17.
Forbes.com will showcase the five-minute segment of Pat Summerall’s Champions of Industry program that aired Nov. 11 on The Discovery Channel network. The segment will be accessible for 24 hours through various Champions of Industry columns, windows, banners and buttons that will rotate throughout Forbes.com.
The show highlights interviews with UNK Chancellor Doug Kristensen, along with former Kearney Mayor Pete Kotsiopulos; Michelle “Shelly” Marks, a UNK graduate; Phyllis Harris, UNK director of Multicultural affairs; Dr. Dennis Potthoff, chair of the UNK Department of Teacher Education; and Dr. Julie Shaffer, UNK assistant professor of biology.
