Tuba players of all ages will perform at the University of Nebraska at Kearney’s 10th annual Merry Tuba Christmas performance Saturday, Dec. 13, in the Fine Arts Recital Hall.
At 10 a.m., the ensemble will be in concert in the Fine Arts Recital Hall under the direction of Dr. Bill Winkle of Chadron State College and Dr. Gary Davis, UNK professor of music and performing arts. The ensemble will perform again at 1:30 p.m. in the Grand Island Conestoga Mall. Both concerts are free and open to the public.
Tuba players will begin registering at 8 a.m. Saturday in the UNK band room; rehearsal is at 9 a.m.
