The Chancellor Kristensen Family Scholarship has been established by University of Nebraska at Kearney Chancellor Doug Kristensen and his parents Don and Mary Lou Kristensen. This scholarship acknowledges and coincides with the approaching installation ceremony. The ceremony takes place Friday, May 2 at 2 p.m. in the Health and Sports Center.
The scholarship supports students who consistently earn high academic marks and those who demonstrate leadership qualities at UNK by their involvement on and off campus. The scholarship not only encourages students to maintain those high standards, it rewards them for their hard work.
Those interested in acknowledging Chancellor Kristensen’s installation are encouraged to contribute to this fund by sending a gift directed to the Kristensen Family Scholarship Fund at the University of Nebraska Foundation at P.O. Box 2678, Kearney, NE 68848.
