The always popular Jim Wand “The Extraordinary Hypnotist” will be on the University of Nebraska at Kearney campus on Thursday, January 24 and Friday, January 25. Wand will be performing two shows on January 24 at 7:30 and 9:15 p.m. On January 25, Wes Harrison, “Mr. Sound Effects” will open for him with the show beginning at 7:30 p.m. All three shows will be held in the Fine Arts Recital Hall.
Wand has been nominated by 1,500 colleges as one of the top entertainers on the circuit today during the past thirteen consecutive years. He has performed on over 1,000 college campuses from coast to coast, with a 98% rebook rate, his popularity continues to grow. Wand has worked with such personalities as George Strait, Jay Leno, The Judds and Miami Sound Machine.
Tickets can be purchased for $1 with a UNK identification card and $3 for general admission at the Nebraskan Student Union Office. Sellouts are probable so advance purchase is encouraged. The presentation is sponsored by Student Activities Council and is funded by UPFF.
