Christy Rasmussen a University of Nebraska at Kearney senior majoring in advertising from Broken Bow recently received a 10-week summer Vance Stickell Memorial Internship. These interns are placed in various agencies and media throughout the United States.
Rasmussen will be going to D’Arcy Advertising Agency in New York City as the recipient of the national internship sponsored by the American Advertising Federation. She will be the only Stickell intern at D’Arcy Masius Benton and Bowles but will join others in the agency’s internship program.
Her salaried internship will be in account management. She and other interns will collaborate as a team, create an advertising campaign on a local business, and present their product to the agency’s executives.
