STUDENTS ATTENDING FLUTIST TREVOR WYE’S MASTERCLASS

Internationally acclaimed flutist Trevor Wye, from England,presented a masterclass to high school students at the University ofNebraska at Kearney on March 7.     High school students selected to participate in the masterclass were:Sherill Sandstrom of Holyoke, CO, Sarah Putz of McCook, Abigail Underhillof Lincoln, Amanda Peters of Eagle, and Eleanor Miller of Lincoln.

Wye is a former professor at the Guildhall School of Music, London,and the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester.     Wye travels throughout the world giving master classes includingannual appearances in the USA, Canada, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, andJapan.
