NEBRASKA SAFETY FAIR SCHEDULED FOR FEB. 9

UNK- The first floor rotunda of the state capitol in Lincoln will host the tenth annual Nebraska Safety Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wed., Feb. 9.

The fair, which is co-hosted by the Nebraska Safety Center at the University of Nebraska at Kearney and the Nebraska State Patrol, is an informational event where booths are set up by organizations to display safety information to those attending.

“The event is designed for people to stop by the booths and pick up safety information,” said Darla Morris, coordinator of the Safety Fair. “We want to make people aware of the kind of safety services that exist.”

Among the organizations participating in the event are AAA of Nebraska, Nebraska State Fire Marshall Office, American Red Cross and Operation Lifesaver.
