UNK removing four buildings – Otto Olsen, Conrad Hall, east heating plant, Luke & Jake’s

KEARNEY – The University of Nebraska at Kearney campus will look a little different when the 2021-22 school year begins. UNK is removing four vacant buildings this spring and summer as part of its campus master plan. The vast majority of those pieces are tucked inside the cabinet, where a series of felt-covered hammers and tightly wound metal strings produce the instrument’s distinctive sound. New buildings, facility improvements taking shape at UNK

KEARNEY – Construction fence and heavy equipment continues to be a common sight on the University of Nebraska at Kearney campus as work progresses on several major projects. Fine Arts Building construction work part of Otto Olsen replacement at UNK

Olsen replacement project. Construction fence is going up along the south side of the building’s west wing, where two classrooms will be added in the space currently serving as a courtyard.
