Austin Jacobsen, Sarah Petersen named UNK Greek Man, Woman of the Year

KEARNEY – Austin Jacobsen and Sarah Petersen are the University of Nebraska at Kearney’s Greek Man and Woman of the Year for 2019-20. The recent UNK graduates were recognized Monday evening during the annual Fraternity and Sorority Life banquet, which was rescheduled from April because of the COVID-19 pandemic and livestreamed on Zoom to limit attendance. UNK's Alpha Phi sorority hosted its annual Red Dress Poker and Pitch Tournament on Thursday evening in the Health and Sports Center. In its 15th year, the event included a Texas Hold ’em competition for individual players and a 10-point pitch tournament for teams of two. A total of 216 players from the UNK campus and Kearney-area communities participated. Alpha Phi’s annual Red Dress Poker and Pitch Tournament scheduled for March 5

KEARNEY – The University of Nebraska at Kearney’s Alpha Phi sorority is hosting its annual Red Dress Poker and Pitch Tournament on March 5 in the Health and Sports Center on campus. In its 15th year, the event includes a Texas Hold ’em competition for individual players and a 10-point pitch tournament for teams of two. Entry fees are $12 per person for poker and $8 per person for pitch before the event, with costs increasing to $15 and $10 at the door.
